I was born in Ellicott City, MD, but raised in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. A lifelong Presbyterian, I grew up in the church, learning to love God and God’s family.
After high school, I attended Sweet Briar College, and first discerned my call to ministry. While at Sweet Briar, I explored my love for all things ancient, majoring in Classics and minoring in Religion, Art History, and Medieval-Renaissance Studies.
After Sweet Briar, I enrolled at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, pursuing my Masters of Divinity. During my third year, I served as the full-time Intern Minister of First Presbyterian Church in Henderson, North Carolina, a joyful experience that confirmed for me my call to parish ministry. Following this internship, I completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. I graduated from seminary in 2016.
I was ordained into the PC(USA) in June of 2016, and am currently serving as the solo pastor of Crescent Springs Presbyterian Church in northern Kentucky. I’m active in the Presbytery of Cincinnati, and will serve as Moderator in the 2020-2021 year.
I live with my wonderful husband, Erron, and our adorable hellspawn of a cat, Caesar. First and foremost, I love God, but I’m also pretty passionate about worship and liturgy, chocolate, travel, graphic design, and musicals!
